Updated: 2020-04-27

Nanming district in Guiyang -- capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- recently provided transport subsidies of over 141,200 yuan ($19,972) to employees of resident companies who returned to work from outside the city, according to local media reports on April 26.

Officials said that to date, 659 people from 60 businesses in Nanming district have received the subsidies.

According to the policy, the scope of transport subsidy covers employees outside Guiyang who return to the district’s construction sites, manufacturers, internet companies and service businesses above designated size.

The expenses for the qualified employees who return to Guiyang by way of a company chartered or regular bus from Feb 10 to March 10, will be reimbursed according to the relevant conditions.
