A signing ceremony between Guiyang city's Nanming district and the Guian comprehensive bonded zone was held in Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on April 22, according to officials.
The purpose of the ceremony was to formalize the agreement between the district and the bonded zone to cooperate on the construction of the 'Guian & Nanming Industrial Park'.
The goal is to establish a coordinated and integrated development mechanism, relying on Guian comprehensive bonded zone, and to strive to achieve a total industrial output value of more than five billion yuan ($706 million) and annual tax payments of more than 100 million yuan, by 2022.
Under the agreement, the two bodies will take the electronic information industrial park of Guian comprehensive bonded zone as the new park's core.
They will use the existing factory buildings to attract leading enterprises in the fields of big data, electronic products manufacturing and electronic information products manufacturing.
The location and opening-up advantages of the bonded zone are expected to propel the construction of a foreign trade service platform, serving modern service industry projects including supply chains, commodity trade and customs brokers.
In addition, based on the land resources available in Guian New Area, targeted policies will be given for high-quality projects with high economic efficiency and great growth potential, in a bid to build up competitive advantage across the whole industrial chain.
