The former residence of Wang Boqun is situated west of Huguo Road of Nanming district in Guiyang. It is a unique French-style building made of bricks and wood.It was built in 1917, covering an area of 1600 square meters.

The residence is composed of a rectangular main building and a cylindrical watchtower. The main building has two floors and corridors on all sides. Although Wang’s former residence is a French-style building, it was affected by the traditional decorative techniques, which is an integration of Chinese and foreign architectural cultures. As an important historical site in modern times, Wang’s former residence is now a provincial cultural relics protection unit.
