Sub-district of Nanming district moves to support firms’ development

In order to comprehensively promote the resumption of work and production in its jurisdiction, Xingguan sub-district of Nanming district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have taken multiple measures to minimize the economic losses caused by the epidemic and promote development of resident enterprises, according to local media reports on April 2.

On the one hand, the sub-district has focused on cultivating private small and medium-sized enterprises, service industry, catering industry and commerce industry with development potential in its jurisdiction, providing corresponding support services for these enterprises, making every effort to coordinate and solve the problems reflected by enterprises, and promoting the full-capacity production of enterprises.

On the other hand, the sub-district has introduced various types of high-quality enterprises and large taxpayers to increase the fiscal and tax revenue of the sub-district. For the top 50 key tax paying enterprises, the sub-district has provided one-to-one assistance and services, provided enterprises with information on all kinds of assistance measures in various industries during the epidemic, provided enterprises with sales channels of medical disinfection materials and improved the development of enterprises, so as to promote these firms to contribute to the financial and tax revenue of the jurisdiction.

In addition, Xinguan sub-district has also attracted foreign investment through the investment promotion platform of Nanming district.

Up to now, there are 1,385 enterprises in Xinguan sub-district, 1,042 of which have been returned to work, with a return rate of 75.2 percent; 3,479 individual businesses in the area, 2,776 of which have been returned to work, with a return rate of 79.8 percent; and all the 16 enterprises above the designated size in the jurisdiction have returned to work.
