All 20 industrial enterprises above a designated size -- with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.85 million) or more -- and 22 big data enterprises above a designated sized in the Nanming district of Guiyang city have now resumed work, according to local officials on Feb 20.
In face of the effect of the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak, Nanming district in southwestern China's Guizhou province has introduced measures, officials said.
These have helped local industrial businesses and big data companies return to operations as soon as possible and maintain a healthy and sustainable development.
For industrial enterprises, the district issues policies covering 14 areas.
These include providing support on financial discounts, reducing rent and traffic subsidies for workers. Other supports include supplying epidemic prevention and control materials, to helping industrial enterprises to resume production and promote their healthy and sustainable development.
For big data companies, the district has formulated a series of programs, unified the standards of enterprises in epidemic prevention and control and helped companies to apply for filing online.
In addition, in order to avoid the risk of cross transmission, the district's bureau of industry and information technology is liaising with big data enterprises through QQ, WeChat, the telephone and other ways.
These talks are resumption of operations, to ensure that big data enterprises in the district return to work with the strict epidemic prevention and control standards.
At present, 22 big data enterprises in the district have resumed operations in the form of remote offices and on-site offices, officials added.
