Nanming district in Guiyang, capital city of southwestern Guizhou province, plans to carry out a one-month special action -- to promote the development of 14 key projects and 19 key enterprises, according to a plan published by local authorities.
Local media reports said initiative mainly aims to solve the difficulties and problems encountered by key projects and enterprises.
It will aim to help them out of difficulties, accelerate the progress of projects under construction, effectively promote investment growth, as well as promote the healthy and stable development of Nanming's economy by means of whole-process tracking, whole-process services and comprehensive coordination.
Officials said that in terms of serving key projects, Nanming district will increase coordination between government and enterprises to help project owners build public support facilities.
At the same time, it will coordinate and solve problems encountered in project construction, severely crack down on illegal acts and remove obstacles for project construction.
In terms of serving key enterprises, Nanming district will conduct extensive investigations on a range of things.
They will look into production and operations, capital turnover, talent introduction and technological reforms. The investigations will also look into product upgrades and marketing and solicit opinions and suggestions from enterprises, to fully understand the actual difficulties being faced by companies in production and operations.
Officials said that on this basis, Nanming district will put forward reasonable suggestions to the enterprises.
It will actively coordinate and solve the problems encountered in the production and operation of the enterprises and ensure the healthy and sustainable development of the businesses.
It will guide the enterprises to do a good job in safety production, environmental protection, energy conservation and statistical investigation.
The district will also help the enterprises to improve their management and enhance their internal motivation.
Officials added that it would guide the enterprises to strive for all kinds of policy support and funds at all levels, reduce the burden of enterprises and help enterprises improve their competitiveness.
