Nanming district of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a meeting to promote the construction of its electronic information industry park on Oct 30.
At the meeting, its leaders emphasized that Nanming electronic information industry park is an important carrier for the development of the local medium and high-end manufacturing industry.
District officials said that all relevant departments and construction units would schedule the construction period reasonably to ensure safety and quality, while speeding up the construction progress, and completing the build-out and putting it into operation as soon as possible.
According to Nanming officials, Nanming electronic information industrial park covers an area of 247 mu (16.47 hectares), with a total construction area of about 280,000 square meters.
They said the park will make full use of technologies -- such as big data, the internet of things and artificial intelligence -- to create a smart industrial park that integrates standard production plants, support buildings and office and leisure facilities.
Furthermore, keeping its sights on the electronic information industry, the park will focus on the cultivation of industrial clusters such as integrated circuits and intelligent network auto parts.
It will strive to promote the integrated development of big data and the real economy. It will explore the high-end, ecological and intensive industrial development approach and build itself into a demonstration park for the high-end manufacturing industry in the province.
