A training session offering guidance for entrepreneurship and employment took place at Guiyang University in Nanming district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province on Oct 22, according to the organizers.
Sponsored by Nanming district's bureau of human resources and social security, the event attracted the participation of about 300 teachers and students from Guiyang University.
The purpose of the activity was to stimulate entrepreneurs' entrepreneurial passions, broaden their horizons, familiarize themselves with local policies about entrepreneurship and employment, and improve their employability, the organizers said.
It was also about promoting employment through entrepreneurship and aimed to build a platform for mutual exchanges and provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn about the entrepreneurial process.
At the same time, it aimed to answer questions from budding entrepreneurs, so they can help their own learning and growth methods.
The organizers said that the event also provided guidance for college students on employment.
The training program will hold 13 series of activities later and is expected to benefit 1,500 people.
