The newly built government affairs center at the Nanming district in Guiyang -- capital city of southwestern Guizhou province -- has started providing a range of handy services to residents free of charge, these include typing and copying, WiFi, drinks and mailing, according to local media reports on Sept 19.
Officials said that from May, Nanming district has comprehensively upgraded the government affairs center.
Some 17 computers and 13 printers have been placed in the newly built center for free use by locals.
At the same time, the information desk in the center's lobby and 198 service hatches were equipped with photocopiers, which can help the citizens to copy materials free of charge.
Meanwhile, residents who come to the center can access the internet by turning on their mobile phones or other mobile terminals and searching for WiFi accounts.
The center has also set up a book bar on each floor. Coffee is provided free of charge in the book bar, where people can wait while handling their affairs.
In addition, the center also provides free mail services for locals, officials said.
