Nanming welcomes 262,400 tourists during Mid-Autumn Festival

According to local media reports, during the three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Nanming district in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, received 262,400 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 24.06 percent, while tourism revenue was 551 million yuan ($78.36 million), a year-on-year increase of 31.07 percent.

Before the festival, the relevant departments of Nanming district jointly carried out rectification work, such as the special rectification of the tourism market order and the joint inspection of safety in the tourism industry.

Meanwhile, local authorities focused on the inspection of various recreational facilities in parks in the area, and prepared safety precautions and rescue measures before the festival, strengthening tourism safety supervision, and optimizing the business environment and service quality.

The introduction of tourism consultation and complaint telephone lines were announced to the public, and identification and information signs were standardized to ensure the safety and stability of the tourism market during the holiday season.
