The famous ancient pavilion Jiaxiu Pavilion situates at Nanming river, which is a cultural landmark of Guiyang.The 22.9-meter high Jiaxiu Pavilion has three floors, three eaves and four angles on the roof. A 90-meter long bridge going through the pavilion connects two banks. 

The pavilion has more than 400 years of history so far and has been carried out six large-scale renovations. On May 25,2016, Jiaxiu Pavilion, as an ancient building of Ming Dynasty(1368-1644), was listed as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council. 

Jiaxiu Pavilion scenic area includes three parts, involving Fuyu bridge, the main building of Jiaxiu pavilion and Cuiwei garden.

Cuiwei garden is the only remaining building of the Ming dynasty that was built in the Xuande period of the Ming dynasty more than 560 years ago, which consists of Gongnan pavilion, Cuiwei pavilion and Longmen college, covering an area of more than 4000 square meters. It is listed as a municipal-level key cultural relics protection unit.
