The Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province recently released nine special seasonal gourmet tourism routes for winter – celebrating the "mild winter coastal wellness journey" to be had in and around the city of Maoming in South China's Guangdong province.

The route comprises: Aoneihai (Tongzi Bay) – Yanjingling – Tangxiali Street – China's First Beach – Shuidong Bay Ocean Park – Langman Hai'an (Romantic Coast) International Resort – Hengshan Food Street – Bohe Fishing Port (Bohe Night Market) – Liantouling (Jiahai Lighthouse) – and the Yushuigu Hot Spring Resort.

This route features a unique combination of scenic spots, iconic streets and renowned resorts.

Highlights include Tongzi Bay's shimmering waters, Yanjingling's dramatic cliffs and the golden hues of China's First Beach. Visitors can also explore the expansive mangroves of Shuidong Bay and stroll through  busy Tangxiali Street and Hengshan Food Street.

Seafood lovers will revel in Bohe Fishing Port – a hub of marine abundance. Species like yellow croaker, mackerel, shrimps, crabs and squid are plentiful and affordable, making Bohe an ideal place to savor Maoming's culinary heritage.
