This year's Maoming litchi and longan production and marketing work is being carried out in an orderly fashion. By the end of May 11, seven fruit production management technology training courses had been held, with 1,400 people receiving training.
Through the industrial platform, 3.9 million daily planting technical guidance newspapers have been sent to over 300,000 farmers to date.
Maoming has strengthened cooperation with Jingdong (JD), SF Express, China Post, and other express delivery enterprises. JD has set up over 400 collection points in rural areas of Maoming, opened a cold chain processing center and placed freezers at core collection points.
Over the past two years, Maoming has been striving to promote the production and marketing of litchi. It has launched four litchi customization apps and WeChat mini program platforms, while 328 agricultural enterprises have participated in litchi customization, providing customers with more options.
At the same time, Maoming has carried out in-person promotion activities such as the 2024 Guangfu Temple Fair promotion events, 2024 Maoming Marathon and cooperation meetings with JD logistics, to further improve Maoming litchi customization services.
