As spring is coming, Sanhua plums are blooming in Xinyi, a county-level city in Maoming, which has attracted many tourists and boosted local tourism.

In recent years, Xinyi has developed its Sanhua plum industry. In 2022, Shuanghe village received more than 1.2 million tourists, while Qianpai town's per capita income exceeded 21,000 yuan ($3,098) by Sanhua plums industry.

Li Dasheng, a villager from Xinyi, said that the Sanhua plum trees in front of his house were in full bloom these days. Many tourists have come to enjoy the flowers, which has helped boost sales of his other vegetables near the Sanhua plum trees.
