Maoming set out to develop itself into a national forest city in 2016, and since then has become home to many nature reserves, forest cities, forest towns and forest villages. Its mountains are particularly majestic.

The main peak of Fushan Mountain is 941 meters above sea level. Due to its location, Fushan Moutain is surrounded by clouds and mist all year round.

At Dawu Mountain, extending 1,704 meters above sea level, the colors change throughout the year, and the peak is covered by clouds and fog, leading to the nickname "great fog".

Baiji Mountain is also often enshrouded by mist. There are many beautiful villages nearby, as well as the surrounding Sanhua plum forest.
