The lychee tourist season and the 3rd Maoming Travel Fair ended on June 30, after more than 40 days. The online travel fair attracted nearly 1.6 million visitors and its 32 live broadcasts received 1.18 million views.

Promoting the recovery of cultural tourism consumption in Maoming was one of the many benefits seen during this year's lychee tourist season.
A total of 36 cultural and tourist enterprises in Maoming displayed their products at the travel fair and offered discounts on items such as scenic area tickets, hotel accommodation, food, specialty products, and cultural creative products. The highest sales volume in a single day exceeded 100,000 yuan ($15,465).

The lychee-themed cultural tour route also attracted nearly 10,000 visitors, including nearly 5,000 tourists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Beibu Gulf city cluster and the Yangtze River Delta region from May 22 to 27.
In addition, tourism experts from nearly 30 cities around China to participate in a Maoming lychee-themed short video competition, helping the city to promote its tourism resources around the country.
The event was jointly hosted by the publicity department of the CPC Maoming Municipal Committee and the city's bureau of culture, radio, film, television, tourism and sports.
