Shuttle buses will run between Huazhou Hedong Bus Terminal in Maoming and Zhanjiang Airport from April 29, allowing Huazhou citizens to get to the airport without having to transfer.

The whole journey is 81 kilometers and takes about 90 minutes. It will incorporate four pick-up points - Huazhou Hedong Bus Terminal, Dashanmei Maogen Petrol Station, Tongqing Middle School and the entry to S285 Provincial Highway - and two drop-off points, namely the Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University and Zhanjiang Airport.

The bus will depart from Huazhou to Zhanjiang Airport at 7 am, 11 am, 3 pm and 7 pm every day, and leave Zhanjiang Airport for Huazhou at 9 am, 1 pm, 5 pm and 9 pm.

The ticket price is 40 yuan ($6.15) per person.

In addition, a Zhanjiang Airport departure hall will be set up at Huazhou Hedong Bus Terminal this year, offering services like flight timetables and ticket booking, according to an worker from the Huazhou bus terminal.
