Located at No 13, Xiaoxue lane, East street, Diancheng town, Diancheng Town Central Primary School was formerly known as Lianfeng Academy. It was founded in 1906 (32nd year in the reign of Emperor Guangxu), and was designated as the first public school in Dianbai County in 1919. In 1997, it was rated as a "first-class school of Maoming city" and in 1998 it was included among the first "modern educational technology experimental schools" in Maoming. In 1999, it was rated as "the most beautiful campus" in Maoming. In 2005, it was rated as a "first-class school" in Guangdong province.
At present, Tiancheng Town Central Primary School is divided into two campuses: the headquarters and the Juexi campus. Combined, the campuses cover an area of 59,648 square meters, the school buildings cover 29,260 square meters (excluding a student dormitory of 6,728 square meters), and the library has 88,084 books.
