On the morning of February 5, Secretary of the CPC Maoming Municipal Committee Xu Zhihui and Maoming Mayor Yuan Gujie conducted inspections on local petrochemical companies in Maonan district and the High-tech district to review their epidemic control and business operation in the midst of the novel conoravirus outbreak.
Xu also serves as the director of the Standing Committee of Maoming Municipal People’s Congress, and Yuan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Maoming Municipal Committee.
During the inspections, they highlighted the businesses’ responsibility to respond actively to the possible changes in the epidemic, implement precise and effective counter-measures, and be open to the full support of small-and-medium-sized companies in order to get through this epidemic with stronger confidence and proper assurance.
Xu and Yuan visited the refinery of Sinopec’s Maoming Branch, Guangdong Xinhuayue Petrochemical Group Stock Company,Guangdong Aoke Chemical Co., Ltd., Luhua New Material, and Chengchi High-tech Petrochemical of Zhonghe Chemical and Plastic. They talked to company executives about staff health monitoring, sales, raw material supply, and project progress, and provided solutions for existing problems they encountered.
Municipal government officials Huang Yuhua, Yin Zhaolin, Li Duomin, and Zhao Xiaolu attended the inspections.
