Gaozhou salt roasted chicken originated in a small restaurant near a provincial road in Gaozhou. Gaozhou citizens often take chicken as the main course, chicken giblets, greens and pickles as side dishes, and rice with chicken oil. They often tear chicken by hand to prevent the chicken fiber from being damaged, and add some sea salt to make the dish firm and elastic.
