3rd Fujian Folk and Street Cultural Art Performance Parade starts

The third Fujian Folk and Street Cultural Art Performance Parade, themed "Folk Arts on Streets," kicked off along the Pangong to Zhonglou sections of Zhongshan Road in Quanzhou, Fujian province, on Dec 9.
Spanning two days on Dec 9 and 10, the performance parade unfolded along Daxi Street and Zhonglou sections of Zhongshan Road. The event is held during two specific time frames: 15:30-17:00 and 18:30-21:00.
The event is categorized into 12 zones, each representing various art forms, program types, and unique characteristics. Street and folk artists from different regions of Fujian province are poised to perform instrumental ensembles, puppet shows, tea performances, drunken lion dances, martial arts, street dances, and many other artistic expressions. Furthermore, skilled craftspeople will exhibit their intangible cultural heritage skills through exquisite handicrafts. The event showcases a fusion of art shows and street cultures from the regions along the Maritime Silk Road, inviting individuals present to pause and appreciate.
This event serves as one of the sub-activities of the 5th Maritime Silk Road International Arts Festival. On the evening of Dec 10, the award ceremony for "Folk Arts on Streets," the 3rd Fujian Folk and Street Cultural Arts will take place at Fuwenmiao Plaza in Quanzhou City.
