The 14th Quanzhou International Nanyin Symposium concluded with a grand closing ceremony at Jinjiang Drama Center in Quanzhou, Fujian province, on Dec 9.
Nanyin associations from both domestic and international realms came together to present a "Special Singing Performance of Tang and Song Poems," marking a successful conclusion to this spectacular Nanyin art event.
The closing ceremony unfolded in a quaint and elegant setting, enhanced by a large LED screen and enchanting light and shadow effects that collectively generated a captivating atmosphere and transporting the audience through time. The artists, adorned in stunning costumes, contributed to the grandeur of the occasion. The overall setting and performance immersed the audience in the ethereal and marvelous atmosphere inspired by the ancient Chinese poems, leaving them astonished by this remarkable audio-visual spectacle.
The Nanyin Symposium this year, held as one of the key events during the fifth Maritime Silk Road International Arts Festival, stood as a platform to showcase the talents of Nanyin enthusiasts from around the world. Through their exceptional skills and beautiful vocal performances, the audience was treated to a captivating audio-visual experience.
