Two famous dance groups, Sun&Friends from Gwangju, South Korea and OrganWorks from Yokohama, Japan will attend the 2023 Quanzhou-Yokohama-Gwangju theatrical festival.

Quanzhou was named the first Culture City of East Asia together with Yokohama, Japan and Gwangju, South Korea in September 2013.

Over the past decade, Quanzhou, Yokohama and Gwangju have enhanced mutual understanding through exchanges involving different forms of art, including music, dance, calligraphy and painting.

The 2023 Quanzhou-Yokohama-Gwangju theatrical festival will take place in Quanzhou Song and Dance Theater on Dec 9, featuring a modern dance act titled Integral (20 minutes) by Sun&Friends, a modern dance repertoire titled Dissolve (20 minutes) and four Quanzhou's song and dance programs.
