The fifth Maritime Silk Road International Arts Festival will take place in Quanzhou, a coastal city of China's Fujian province, from Dec 8 to 13. The event takes place every two years.

Themed "Appreciate the beauty of diverse civilizations", the six-day event features five major theme sections and 15 sub-projects, with the aim of strengthening exchange and mutual learning among civilizations to achieve shared and win-win development, to build a festival of art and a gala for all.
