Quanzhou gets fruitful results at Digital China Summit
The Intelligent Manufacturing Sub-forum of the 3rd Digital China Summit was held on Oct 12 in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province, according to the organizers, and the city of Quanzhou in the province did particularly well.
The sub-forum was hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Fujian provincial government and organized by the Quanzhou municipal government.

It invited experts from the Chinese Academy of Engineering in the field of intelligent manufacturing, as well as senior figures from leading domestic and international companies to give keynote reports on the sector.
At the forum, Quanzhou signed strategic agreements with SAP China and Huawei Technologies Co, to build the first SAP Industrial Internet Innovation Center in the province and to cooperate in the fields of the digital economy, digital government and the digital city.
In addition, 15 Quanzhou projects were signed involving a total investment of 8.66 billion yuan ($1.28 billion). These cover the fields of digital economy parks, the industrial internet, artificial intelligence, satellite applications, integrated circuits, the platform economy, 5G networks, smart factories and cross-border e-commerce.
In recent years, Quanzhou has actively promoted the intelligent transformation of its consumer goods industry.
It has developed a number of intelligent manufacturing demonstration enterprises and projects, promoting the city's industrial transformation and upgrading.
