Quanzhou's Fengze district plans IP innovation industrial park
At present, Fengze district of Quanzhou, a city in East China's Fujian province is busy planning the construction of the Quanzhou Intellectual Property (IP) Innovation Industrial Park, aiming to create a new springboard for innovation in the intellectual property industry and drive the city's industrial upgrading.
It will be an important facility to strengthen the construction of new infrastructure and accelerate the development of new business models and incorporating artificial intelligence and the digital economy.
With a planned area of 4.8 square kilometers, the park will build five centers related to IP scientific and technological innovation, protection, technology transfers, pilot promotions and inspection and testing -- as well as IP public service platforms and an IP services industry cluster area.
It will focus on building emerging industries in fields such as smart manufacturing and semiconductors and aim to achieve an output value of more than 10 billion yuan ($1.46 billion) in the three to five years.
In addition, it will support a group of specialized, market-oriented and IP services organizations to effectively recruit top IP professionals.
By the end of 2021, the park will have attracted three or more industrial IP operations centers and more than 30 IP service organizations.
