The Quanzhou-Taiwan service center for industrial design talents was unveiled on Aug 24 at Silk Road Art Park in Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone in Quanzhou, a city in East China's Fujian province.

The center will provide orientation services such as training and exchange, exhibition promotion and venture capital for industrial design talents from Quanzhou and Taiwan.

The establishment of resource databases for design talents, design agencies, supporting services and policy consultation will help the service center to organize special matchmaking meetings between enterprises and industrial design talents.

It will also introduce incentives for industrial design talent projects and platforms, and support measures to encourage enterprises to employ talented designers.

The service center will also host a series of industrial design competitions to incubate a group of entrepreneurial projects from design talents.

In the future, Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone will hold regular sharing sessions at the service center for industrial designers, inviting guests from the fields of design, industry and technology at home and abroad to share new ideas, trends and experiences.
