Cross-Straits Agricultural Products Fair set to open next month
The 13th Cross-Straits Agricultural Products Fair (Quanzhou) will be held from Sept 7 to 9 in Nan'an, a county-level city in Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province, announced the event's organizing committee at a press conference on Aug 20.
This year's fair will adopt online and offline modes. An indoor exhibition hall area of 25,000 square meters will host 703 international standard booths, while 1,063 digital booths will be available to browse online.

Exhibited products will include grains and oils, exclusive agricultural products, fruits, aquatic products and other foodstuffs. Agricultural processing machinery and e-commerce tools for farming enterprises will also be displayed.
Through cooperation with well-known e-commerce platforms, livestreaming services will be offered during the event, providing equipment and platforms for exhibitors to organize real-time online product demonstrations.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the event is primarily for high-quality enterprises based in the province, Taiwan-funded enterprises and associations operating in the region, and other enterprises from low-risk areas.
Also, to help farmers in rural areas increase their incomes, the event will have an exhibit area to facilitate the participation of counterpart enterprises from remote areas as Gansu, Ningxia and Shaanxi.
