The 2019 annual summit of the economic annual meeting of Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province was held on June 30, after being delayed due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

The summit aims to promote the advanced models and successful experiences of Quanzhou's economic development, and to encourage entrepreneurs and businessmen.

For 15 years, the Quanzhou economic meeting has been the annual event of the city's economic community and a good interactive platform for the Party committee, government, enterprises and media, according to Zhang Yongning, deputy secretary of the CPC Quanzhou committee.

It has promoted Quanzhou's industrial innovation and transformation and high-quality development.

At present, Quanzhou is pursing economic and social development while doing a good job in terms of epidemic prevention and control, Zhang added.

At the summit, the city released 10 economic lists, including the top 10 measures for optimizing the business environment and the annual economic figures.

Hu Haiping, vice-president of the China Innovation Design Industrial Alliance, delivered a speech themed around the industrial digitalization process prompted by the epidemic, discussing and analyzing industrial digitalization in the city with the Quanzhou business community.
