Quanzhou to launch ICH promotional activities
To mark Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, which this year falls on June 13, Quanzhou municipal bureau of culture, broadcasting, television and tourism is set to launch a series of publicity events to show off its intangible cultural heritage (ICH).

The activities will include 17 ICH displays, three ICH performances, and one online lecture. In addition, the awarding ceremony for the sixth batch of municipal-level ICH representative projects and the First Quanzhou ICH Shopping Festival will be held.

The event will also introduce ICH boutique routes, and cultural relic protection volunteers will provide interpretation services and explanations.
During the First Quanzhou ICH Shopping Festival, about 67 merchants will participate in the festival's online activities, showcasing ICH categories of traditional medicines, arts and skills.
Located in the southeast of East China's Fujian province, Quanzhou is a famous historical and cultural city approved by the State Council. It has 98 provincial ICH items and 34 national ICH items.
