Quanzhou adds 38 municipal intangible cultural heritage projects
Quanzhou municipal government recently announced a sixth batch of 38 municipal intangible cultural heritage projects, bringing its total number to 262.
Of this total, 98 are at provincial level, and 34 are at national level.

The projects include Quanzhou guqin (Chinese zither) art, Anxi tea songs, and Quanzhou Shaoling boxing art. In total, they cover nearly ten categories of traditional music, drama, art, crafts, medicine, folk customs, sport, entertainment and acrobatics.
Located in the southeast of East China's Fujian province, Quanzhou is one of the famous historical and cultural cities approved by the State Council, a Culture City of East Asia, and the starting point of the ancient Maritime Silk Road.
The rich cultural landscape, unique folk customs and natural scenery make Quanzhou a national and international tourist resort, attracting more and more tourists from across the world.
