Another three museums in Quanzhou reopen
Following the opening of several museums before the May Day holiday, another three museums in Quanzhou, a city in East China’s Fujian province, reopened to the public on May 6, local officials said.
These were Shishi City Museum, Hui'an County Museum and the Dehua County Shunmei Maritime Silk Road Ceramic History Museum.
Shishi City Museum and Hui'an County Museum have a daily reception limit of 200 people, while the Dehua County Shunmei Maritime Silk Road Ceramic History Museum has a daily reception limit of 300 people.
During the novel coronavirus prevention and control period, Hui'an County Museum's reception capacity does not exceed 100 people, officials said.
They said that when encountering a large mass of people in the museum, it takes measures to control the rate of admissions according to the specific situation.
Before visiting museums, tourists need to make an online reservation in advance. Officials said that before entering museums, tourists are required to show the appointment certificate, valid certificate and health code for verification.
Elderly viewers over 70 years old who have not applied for a health code should bring along their original valid ID card.
All tourists are required to wear masks while visiting the museums.
