As the earliest developed block in Quanzhou, West Street was built during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), and has a history of more than 1,300 years.

The exhibition combined some semi-finished products, parts, and production tools of intangible culture heritage pieces, and finally reassembled them into exquisite exhibits.

Taking the Suqing Gate as an inspiration, the exhibition consisted of five key elements: paper-cutting, festival lanterns, puppet head carving, embroidery, and tin carving, showcasing the unique charm of Quanzhou’s intangible culture heritage.

Also on the day, the West Street Treasure Hunting comic book exhibition was launched. It is a collection of books set on West Street. In the form of a comic, it tells the history and stories of 14 streets and lanes using pictures and text, guiding tourists to visit the well-known scenic spots on the street.
