Quanzhou village included in Traditional Chinese Village Digital Museum
Maoxia village, Hushan town in Yongchun county in Quanzhou, a city in East China’s Fujian province, recently successfully completed a complete digitization scan and was then included in the Traditional Chinese Village Digital Museum.
The village is full of the historical and cultural atmosphere of ancient Minnan streets and colorful ancient folk customs. It is a traditional village that integrates ancient houses, trees, streets and enduring folk customs.

On Dec 17, 2012, it was announced that Maoxia village would join the first batch of traditional Chinese villages recognized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Finance.
As decreed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Traditional Chinese Village Digital Museum was opened in April 2018 to showcase the cultural charms of traditional villages in digital form.
A total of 376 villages from 31 provincial-level regions have been included on the digital platform.
