Officials said that all 47 patients infected with coronavirus in the hospital had been discharged, with no further confirmed cases and no medics infected.
In response to the epidemic, Quanzhou established 89 fever clinics and implemented segmented area management, receiving a total of 71,307 infected patients.
Officials said the city strengthened the effective management of key high-risk groups and made every effort to eliminate potential risk exposure.
The city formed a medical group composed of clinical specialties related to traditional Chinese medicine, critical care, respiratory, infection, endocrinology, nursing, pharmacy and nutrition, with a focus on the integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine for medical treatment of the coronavirus.
Its experience in the treatment of critically ill patients was subsequently fully affirmed by provincial experts, officials said.
