Quanzhou Pacific Container Terminal cooperated effectively with Shishi customs and Fujian Quanzhou Port Development Center to open a fast track channel and reduce and exempt the goods at the terminal.
In addition, the terminal improved the efficiency of business process operations, completing the ship unloading, inspection, release, pick-up and distribution of the materials in only four hours.
Since the epidemic outbreak, the terminal has made every effort to help with the epidemic prevention and control measures to ensure smooth and orderly production at the port and smooth transportation of prevention and control materials.
Officials said that in order to help even more, it has reduced and exempted port warehouse usage costs for the approved customers in 2020, as well as companies with special needs in epidemic prevention and control during the epidemic period.
Officials said that to date, it has exempted 5.06 million yuan ($721,044.23) in fees for customers using the port warehouse.
