A launch ceremony for a leading tea company in Fujian province was held during the 12th Cross-Straits (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair on Nov 3.

At the event, the Empereur Tea Co from Anxi district in Quanzhou, was announced as the exclusive official product for the upcoming China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival in Xiamen.

A group of industry insiders have expressed their intensions to cooperate with tea companies in Fujian such as the Empereur Tea.  

"Empereur Tea has spent 16 years in the construction of the eight tea estates in the core producing areas,"said Xiao Wenhua, the chairman of the company.

"It has really done an excellent job in planting good tea trees, cultivating good fresh leaves and inheriting good technology," Xiao added.
