A group of multinational procurement enterprises and professional buyers from Russia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other regions visited Jiashan county in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on Jan 30 for business matchmaking with local suppliers.

The visit was part of the "Trade Bridge, China Industrial Tour" event held under the China Import and Export Fair.

The visiting procurement delegation, comprising large retailers, brand owners, importers, and e-commerce platform representatives, focused on electronics, home appliances, smart home products, and eco-friendly furniture — sectors that align well with Jiaxing's exports.

The delegation inspected local suppliers during the visit, with a Hong Kong buyer showing particular interest in a smart adjustable bed frame at Sinomax (Zhejiang) Polyurethane Technology, which monitors heart rate and alleviates snoring. At Zhejiang Yili Machinery & Electric, the team was introduced to innovations in cleaning equipment, with a Saudi buyer particularly interested in the integration of steam and pressure-washing machines.

The event, which also included promotional sessions and one-on-one business talks, facilitated deeper connections between international buyers and local manufacturers, ensuring more precise business matchmaking.

Jiaxing's enterprises are gaining a stronger foothold in the international market, with exports reaching 88.36 billion yuan ($12.70 billion) in 2025, up 8.9 percent year-on-year.
