The Fourth China-Serbia Youth International Cultural Exchange Camp concluded in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on Jan 17, with 63 young people from Serbia exploring the charm of Jiangnan (the southern regions of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River).

The delegation's visit began in Puyuan Fashion Town, Tongxiang, a county-level city in Jiaxing. They admired the ancient bridges, flowing water, and towering trees that define the typical Jiangnan landscape. Many paused to take photos of the picturesque surroundings. The town's cultural offerings, from the guzheng (traditional Chinese zither) music to hanfu (traditional attire) displays, highlighted the charm of Chinese culture. The delegation participated in traditional customs, such as wearing tiger-head hats and shopping for cultural souvenirs.

In the afternoon, the group joined a cultural exchange event in Nanhu district. They experienced making dumplings and writing the character fu (blessing). As they wrote their names in Chinese characters, they gained an appreciation for the beauty of Chinese calligraphy, bridging cultural differences and deepening mutual understanding.

The day concluded with a basketball match at Jiaxing Nanyang Polytechnic Institute, where the youths engaged in competitive play, enhancing their trust and friendship through teamwork.

Over the past two years, 300 young Serbians have visited Jiaxing. The organizers aim to strengthen long-term cooperation between Jiaxing and Serbia in cultural, educational, tourism, and economic fields through such exchanges.
