Founded in 2018, Zhejiang ICLeague Technology Co Ltd specializes in developing AI chips. At the early stages of the company's development, its founder invited five renowned experts in chip research and more than 20 professionals to set up a research team for heterogeneous chips.

The company debuted the world's first very-high performance heterogeneous chip at a semiconductor-themed summit held in Haining, Jiaxing, Zhejiang from Sept 26 to 27, 2020.

The chip, which breaks down the limit between storage and computing for homogeneous chips and integrates data storage with computing, will play a significant role in accelerating the upgrading of industries through artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

Despite the complex structure of the chip, which made it difficult to produce, ICLeague took just one year to successfully create the chip.

The company has also registered a new company, Zhejiang Haixin Microsemiconductor Technology Co Ltd, to be in charge of producing the chip.
