The delicious dishes include, Nanhu Lake Crab Powder, fermented bean curd pork, fried shrimp meat, and Jiashan Shredded Eel. Others are Wenhu Duck in Soy Sauce, Hongda Roasted Chicken, Sanzhenzhai Chicken in Soy Sauce and others. New dishes have been added to traditional Nanhu Lake Boat Dishes -- such as Xiashi Jar Meat, duck wonton, and Weitang White Cake.

Local refreshments:

The refreshments of Jiaxing have a long history. In the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), "Jiahu Fine Refreshments" were known in the south of the Yangtze River. In Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), there were more refreshments. In modern times, famous refreshments also earn Jiaxing great reputation among refreshments lovers. The most famous refreshment is Wufangzhai Zongzi.
