Zhejiang province issued a congratulatory message to its delegation on Nov 21 after athletes delivered a historic showing at the 15th National Games, achieving breakthroughs across both elite and mass-participation events.
Zhejiang competitors won 44 gold, 37 silver, and 41 bronze medals in elite competition, ranking second nationwide in gold medals. In mass-participation events, the delegation added 13 gold, 10 silver, and 8 bronze, also placing second among all provinces.
This year's games marked Zhejiang's largest delegation ever, and athletes made strong showings across a wide range of sports.
