Five international students from Ningbo University's Faculty of Foreign Languages and four Russian seafarers came to the Moxin Mountain Tea Garden in Daishan county, Zhoushan, Zhejiang province for a tea culture event on April 10.

Since its inception, the Daishan Moxin Mountain Tea Research Society has focused on integrating tea culture with tourism. It offers a comprehensive tea culture tourism experience, including leisure tourism, ecological sightseeing, tea-making demonstrations, tea art performances, and tea tasting.

Participants, dressed in traditional Chinese attire, engaged in tea-picking activities, walking between rows of tea plants and enjoying the pleasure of the harvest.

Arina Sahakyan, a student from Armenia, praised the natural beauty and expressed delight in experiencing the tea-picking in such beautiful attire.

In the tea-frying workshop, participants learned traditional tea-frying techniques. The tea leaves released a fragrant aroma as the pan heated. Guided by a skilled master, they learned to control the heat and stir the leaves, marveling at the transformation from fresh leaves to finished tea.

The event concluded with a tasting of spring tea, where participants from diverse cultural backgrounds exchanged insights and appreciation for the rich and profound Chinese tea culture.
