Public transport new energy summit held in Jiaxing
The second China Urban Public Transport New Energy Summit convened in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, on March 27.
Over 200 representatives from transit companies, industry associations, research institutes, and the new energy sector gathered by Nanhu Lake to discuss the future of green public transport.
The summit explored key topics such as digitalization and safety in new energy bus systems, smart charging infrastructure, full-chain energy stations, and integrated solar-storage-charging solutions.
Experts also examined the evolving role of public transport in energy transition and the challenges in charging infrastructure and battery technology.
As the host city, Jiaxing continues to prioritize public transport development, focusing on diverse transit networks, comfortable vehicles, smart bus stops, seamless transfers, and convenient payment systems to enhance urban mobility.
