Huzhou (ASEAN) Overseas Marketing Center sparks over $10m in exports
Since the Huzhou (ASEAN) Overseas Marketing Center launched in Thailand on June 28, it has fostered cooperation between Huzhou in Zhejiang province and Southeast Asian countries, propelling cumulative exports to over $10 million.
Huzhou Tianmai Apparel Co, based in Zhili town, Wuxing district, was initially engaged in domestic trade, but after joining the overseas marketing center, the company achieved a breakthrough in international trade.
To date, 103 Huzhou enterprises and institutions have established a presence at the Huzhou (ASEAN) Overseas Marketing Center, showcasing over seven categories of products, including children's wear and makeup.
Xu Cheng, deputy general manager of Huzhou Overseas Marketing Center (Thailand) Co, emphasized the company's efforts to arrange for enterprises to attend local exhibitions. "Our recent exchange event between Chinese and Thai entrepreneurs resulted in 13 enterprises establishing cooperation intention with Huzhou."
Lu Jinming, chairman of Huzhou Industrial Group's Foreign Trade Co, outlined plans to establish sub-centers in South America, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia, aiming to propel Huzhou's global expansion through tailored partnerships with local entities.
