The Zhejiang Enterprise Confederation, Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Association, and Zhejiang Federation of Industrial Economics released four provincial lists on Sept 19, including the Top 100 Enterprises, Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, Top 100 Service Enterprises, and Top 100 Fastest Growing Enterprises in Zhejiang.

This year, seven companies from Jiaxing made the lists, with two achieving a significant milestone by joining the "100-billion-yuan club".

The top 100 enterprises in Zhejiang showed continued growth, with a total annual revenue of 10.58 trillion yuan ($1.49 trillion), marking the second consecutive year in which it has surpassed 10 trillion yuan and a 5.81-percent increase from the previous year. Total profits reached 523.54 billion yuan, a 34.43-percent increase. Of the listed companies, 31 reported annual revenues exceeding 100 billion yuan, two more than the previous year.

Jiaxing's performance was notable, with five companies listed among Zhejiang's Top 100 Enterprises, the same number as last year. All five ranked within the top 50, with four improving their positions.

Reaching a revenue of 100 billion yuan is considered an important landmark. This year, Tongkun Group achieved a revenue of 180.33 billion yuan, while Xinfengming Group achieved 108.46 billion yuan. Despite economic challenges, these companies showed strong growth, with annual revenue growth rates of 27.67 percent and 18.55 percent, respectively, demonstrating the robust strength of Jiaxing enterprises.
