Daishan county in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province has implemented a raft of proactive measures to boost its marine engineering equipment industry.

Specifically, authorities are focusing on establishing a service framework that emphasizes cross-departmental and cross-disciplinary collaboration to address challenges such as high costs and lengthy research and development cycles.

Looking to develop a comprehensive service roadmap, the county is concentrating on six key production stages, including standard research and development, order contracts, and module design for marine engineering equipment, as well as the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments of the industrial chains.

A list of 105 service items has been compiled and categorized into six major groups to streamline operations.

Daishan has also been leveraging the Enterprise Comprehensive Service Center as a central hub to address all enterprise-related issues, both online and offline. These issues are meticulously categorized and managed in a tiered and graded manner to ensure a seamless end-to-end resolution of enterprise matters.

Furthermore, authorities are enhancing financial support services by exploring a maritime equipment mortgage financing system. In 2023, a total of 3.78 million yuan ($521,020.76) in policy funds were disbursed to Wison Group. During the same year, Wison maximized its credit lines, utilizing up to 89 million yuan.
