Ningbo Hot Packing Co Ltd, a company in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, is making waves in the international market with its innovative and culturally rich paper products, according to Tide News.

Hot Packing is a high-tech packaging and printing company integrating design, production, sales, and services. Specializing in disposable paper products like napkins, cups, plates, and straws, the company primarily focuses on exports.

It has established long-term partnerships with clients in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Australia, supplying major retailers such as Target and Walmart. Last year, the company achieved nearly 200 million yuan ($27 million) in sales.

In recent years, Hot Packing has been committed to green and sustainable development. The company invests over 10 million yuan annually in research and innovation, ensuring its products lead the industry in degradability, recyclability, waterproofing, oil resistance, and heat resistance. The company currently holds nearly 300 patents in product design, performance, and recycling.

As an export-oriented enterprise, Hot Packing also places significant emphasis on promoting Chinese culture.

"We've sold zodiac-themed products for the past four years. This year's dragon-themed plates have performed well. The blue and white porcelain patterns on these napkins and plates have also been well-received by overseas customers," said Yang Hongxiang, the company's general manager, "We want to showcase the charm of Chinese culture through these traditional elements."

Hot Packing began its digital transformation in 2018, making significant investments in equipment upgrades and software enhancements and achieving remarkable reductions in costs and increases in efficiency.

In its production workshop, each machine can produce 50 plates per minute, with workers only needed to load and unload materials.

The company's rapid growth is supported by a strong talent pool. Combining internal training and external recruitment, Hot Packing has built a professional and robust talent team. It collaborates with institutions like the Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication and Zhejiang University of Technology to enhance its technological innovation capabilities, laying a solid foundation for high-quality development.

Yang said that the company will explore new opportunities by establishing overseas factories and continue promoting Chinese culture, ensuring the small paper products bring the "Chinese style" to the outside world.
