The inaugural flight of Colorful Guizhou Airlines, GY7277, took off from Yiwu Airport on March 31, carrying 156 passengers and marking the launch of the Yiwu-Chongqing route.

This new route enhances cultural and economic ties between Yiwu and Chongqing, offering more travel options for passengers. It also kicks off Yiwu Airport's summer aviation season.

Chongqing is famous for its rivers, fog, and bridges, as well as its rich Bayu culture. In recent years, it has become a popular destination for travelers from Yiwu.

Colorful Guizhou Airlines joins Southern Airlines and Chongqing Airlines in bridging the gap between the two cities. Two or more daily flights will be launched between Yiwu and Chongqing during the summer season (March 31 to Oct 26), with recent ticket prices starting at just 400 yuan ($55.32).

Passengers are advised to check flight details carefully due to seasonal schedule changes. Additionally, arriving at the airport at least two hours before departure is recommended to avoid any delays.
