From January to February this year, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size in Zhejiang reached 315.7 billion yuan ($43.67 billion), an increase of 11.4 percent year-on-year, surpassing the averages of the nation and eastern region alone by 4.4 and 2.4 percentage points, respectively, and ranking first among the eastern provinces.

During this year's Spring Festival, Zhejiang enterprises and major projects were highly productive, with 1,210 key industrial enterprises achieving uninterrupted production and 183 major projects maintaining uninterrupted construction.

After Feb 24, most of the province's large-scale industrial enterprises resumed production, and from Jan 1 to Feb 24, the province's industrial high-voltage electricity consumption reached 39.88 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 18.6 percent compared to the same period last year.

Before the Spring Festival, Zhejiang issued a notice to ensure smooth, orderly, and safe production at key industrial enterprises during the holiday period.
